Hanoi’s Old Quarter is a busiest area with the history spanning more than 1000 years. Let’s walk with Hanoi Free Walking Tour to explore this ancient capital.
Guests: Igor and his girlfriend
Before starting this tour, we took another tour that was arranged before at 9.20 a.m included 4 people. But unfortunately, when we arrived at the hotel, the receptionist said that guests had not checked-in yet. That’s why we waited for them more 15 minutes and no one came. Finally, the tour was canceled so Ms Diem Anh gave this tour for for us.
During the tour
The first place we visited was the 87 Ma May Traditional House. We introduced a lot of information about it here. Our guests seemed very excited with traditions of Vietnamese people.
Therefore, Vương and I decided to walk on some streets in the Old Quarter before coming to Bach Ma Temple around 12.00 PM. Unfortunately, it was too late to visit the temple because of closing time. Then, we just introduced to Igor and his girlfriend something outside.
Next, we went to Tạ Hiện street to drink beer because they wanted to enjoy fresh beer in Vietnam. Then, we took a round the Sword Lake while Vuong and I talked to them about legend of this lake, Turtle Tower and Ngoc Son Temple. We also took some photos here and visited Ly Thai To park as well.
After walking a lot, my guests started to feel tired so we came back their hotel. We had a funny tour. Specially, they very loved dogs. Wherever had any dog, they would also stop some minute to hug and play with them. Thanks for reading.
During the tour, they always asked me about the address to buy wedding dresses in Hanoi but we didn’t know. Therefore, we exchanged email address to share the recommendation so they could let search on the internet. Sadly, today when i sent email, it failed.
