Along with Hoi An ancient town, My Son is one of the most attractive tourist sites in Quang Nam province. This is a ruin belonged to Champa era. According to the scientists, this was used to a temple city dating from the 4th century and only collapsed during the 13th century. There are around 20 temples standing there showing the interesting Champa culture and influences from various Asian empires including India and Malay. When discovered in the early of 20th century, the ruin was almost intact, but it was damaged after the booms of Us forces during Vietnam war. It is convenient to visit My Son from Hoi An.
